Custom TrueView reads have proven to be a very successful and efficient tactic for SHOWTIME® to help promote new shows, encourage catch up, and reach multiple audiences. Knowing that fans have been searching for details about Desus & Mero’s new show, we created custom videos of the illustrious duo responding to top Google search queries about them.
We targeted various audience segments like existing fans looking for old clips, SHOWTIME® viewers of otherseries, and even potential new fans on YouTube utilizing their highly effective TrueView ad Format and served them custom creative responses to search queries. And of course had a little fun in true Bodega Boys style.
RESULTS
The videos delivered a total of 9.5 million views, and 44 million impressions. At the time, the campaign overall performed extremely well, with one of our lowest CPVs (0.01), two times more efficient than the network average, and 5-7 times more efficient than the YouTube average.
