To introduce the new SHOWTIME® series, City on a Hill to a prestige drama audience, we partnered with relevant and premium publisher, Vanity Fair, for a custom execution. Leveraging their popular series, Shot for Shot, we produced a bespoke version, featuring the series Executive Producer Chuck MacLean and star Kevin Bacon. In the video, the pair broke down a key scene from the premiere episode, giving viewers insight on the characters, the locations and cinematography.
The custom video achieved its goals of driving awareness for the new series, and resulted in 1.6 million total views across Vanity Fair’s platforms. It also delivered 2.4 million impressions and had an impressive 30% VCR rate, which was 7% over Vanity Fair’s benchmarks.
